After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1989, Mike joined his father to pioneer Judson and Associates, s.c. into a respected Commercial Real Estate company focusing on the untapped Waukesha County Marketplace. In the beginning, land development and new construction was the main source of opportunities for Waukesha County, which offered Mike the ability to not only learn the needs of industrial users but also the land development phases of navigating through the municipality permit process. While expanding the team and increasing the Firm’s presence throughout not only Waukesha County but the entire Southeastern Wisconsin market, Mike was promoted to President of the company in 1999 and ultimately purchased the company in 2006. Building on the success and one-on-one kinship he has with his clients; Mike was able to mentor many other agents in the Commercial Real Estate world and grow the company to where it is today with his son Matt carrying on the family legacy as the current President.
One of the most important business foundations, and something Mike has excelled at throughout his career, is his ability to form strong relationships with local developers and business owners. This has enabled him to consistently be a leader in industrial and investment sales and leasing throughout the area. Along with working with many of the major companies throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, Mike has also worked with several banks in identifying the value of their real estate they finance and with managing and selling of distressed properties.
Mike is a member of the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), the Commercial Associates of Realtors (CARW), the Wisconsin Realtor Associates (WRA) and a former member of the Sussex Lions Club. He was a recipient of the “40 Under 40” award sponsored by the Milwaukee Business Journal and won the 2011 CARW Investment Deal of the year.
